DubOffTerms of Service
The short version: DubOff is a game. Use it to dub scenes and have fun. The scenes you download come from the community, not from us, and you're responsible for what you do with your dubs. The rest is below.
1. Who we are
DubOff is made by 100 Ideaz ("we", "us"). These terms cover the DubOff iOS app and the duboff.app website. By using either, you agree to them.
2. End User License Agreement (EULA)
Your license to use the iOS app is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which is incorporated into these terms. If these terms conflict with Apple's EULA regarding your license to use the app, Apple's EULA controls.
3. Eligibility
DubOff is rated 17+. You must be at least 17, or the age of majority where you live, to use it. Community scenes can contain language and content we don't control.
4. Scenes and community content
DubOff ships with a small set of built-in scenes and lets you download dub packs that other people have made and published on GameBanana. Those packs are created and uploaded by their authors, not by us. We don't host them, review them, or endorse them. When you download a pack, your phone fetches it directly from GameBanana under GameBanana's terms.
Scenes may contain clips from films, shows, ads and other works that belong to their rights holders. You are responsible for making sure your use of any scene, and of any dub you create and share, is allowed where you live.
5. Your dubs
Your recordings and the videos DubOff makes from them are yours. They're stored on your phone and we never receive them. Don't use DubOff to impersonate real people in a way that could deceive or harm them, or to make content that's unlawful.
6. Rights holders and takedowns
If you own rights in material that appears in a community dub pack, the pack itself is hosted by GameBanana, so their takedown process is the fastest route. If you believe DubOff's built-in scenes or anything else we control infringes your rights, contact us and we'll deal with it promptly.
7. Purchases
DubOff is free. If we add optional in-app purchases, they're handled by Apple through the App Store and covered by Apple's terms, including refunds.
8. Disclaimers and liability
DubOff is provided as is. We don't promise it will be available, error free, or that any particular scene will keep working. Judges' scores are for fun and don't reflect on your talent. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of DubOff, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, which today is nothing.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date at the top and note it in the app's release notes. Continuing to use DubOff after that means you accept the new terms.
